Founded in 1997, Hitwise is a privately held company, headquartered in New York City and operates in the US, UK, Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong and Singapore.

Hitwise CEO, Andrew Walsh says, "Our significant growth is the result of a number of factors including: our continued global expansion; a unique and continually evolving product suite which helps online marketers improve the effectiveness of their search marketing, affiliate marketing and online advertising efforts; and a fantastic group of very smart people at Hitwise across the globe that work well together to get things done."

Walsh says "One of our most successful strategies has been to expand into Europe and the US. These are very large markets and, even at 1200 customers, we think there is still huge growth left in our business."

According to Walsh, "Hitwise expect to achieve around 70 to 80 per cent growth over the next 12 months."

Deloitte growth Solutions partner Ms Julia Birkerstaff, says "the growth of Hitwise has been astounding."

"Managing growth is challenging for many organisations, but Hitwise has achieved exceptional growth during a downturn in the technology sector."

"With the Australian and global tech sector showing more prosperous signs than the last three years, the future is looking even brighter for Hitwise."
